Where's Your Cross in the Church?

Among the several questions visitors may pose to our elders as they exit the sanctuary, a more common one is, "Where is your cross?" For the most part these days, crosses are expected in a church. The cross, after all, is what everyone associates most with the church. But what if a church doesn't have a cross prominently positioned in the church, like at the Kirk?
